bootie shaking, photo taking, + knit break[ing]

it’s been a crazy few weeks! a fun few weeks, but busy!  our little family has a lot happening in the upcoming weeks, and I’m looking forward to documenting so much of what has already happened!  since my blogging break…

we had a baby.

well, i was pregnant.

we bought a house …. still haven’t moved in. [more on that later...]

our daughter became a bootie-shaking-noise-making-bounce-around-the-room machine. [catch that Phish reference? totally intentional.]

i scored some great finds on craigslist + will be documenting as we transform many of them into feature pieces in our new home. cannot wait to show you all!

i started back up the shop…. only to decide to take another break. [more on that tomorrow.]

i received amazing advice from people like Arianne, Sara Sophia, Beth Anne, Gussy, Becca, Diana + so many others.  which is why, i’ll be doing the above, + taking a short break to get everything in order.

i’ve been brainstorming + thinking a lot about how to make my blog into a place of encouragement, grace, love + ideas. stick with me?

we started SWIMMING LESSONS! + my baby girl lawwwwves it! she + I bundled up in the cold this past Saturday …. only to arrive to an empty parking lot!! oh Pittsburgh, it was 2 inches of snow! Cancelled? really?  gah.

Harlow’s version of kicking….well, safe to say she’s still working on it. ;o]

+ then? we had Tiffany of the amazing hotmetalstudio take our photos! check. them. out …. Harlow makes the craziest faces!!
