Wow. Finding time to blog has been difficult! + yes. I wrote “quicksta” in the title: not sure who I think I am. I’m in the midst of packing up the apartment, getting outside to keep myself from going insane, + managing orders for Coconut Robot. Whew! I’m still learning how to manage this whole stay-at-home-work-from-home-be-martha-stewart-not-go-crazy-in-our-tiny-apartment thing. Whew. Whew. Whew!
insta-quicksta-update might become a *somewhat* regular thing around here! But I promise it won’t takeover. ;o]
I’ve been working on this lovely blanket for a special little someone’s first birthday! So much time + love!
The weather here in Pittsburgh has been averaging about 50-60 degrees lately. Oh, + the SUN has been out.
Read that again.
I’ll give you a minute to let it sink in. SUN + winter here in Pittsburgh? Crazy talk.
Harlow has a little twinsie. His name is Ethan, + I’m planning their wedding. ;o] Just kidding…sort of. His mamma + I have become amazing friends….even though we haven’t met IRL yet.. wha? yes. I just hope she still wants to be my friend after we meet!
She made this ADORABLE onesie for Harlow! Cannot wait to get her in it!
We’ve really been enjoying swim lessons as a family! The water is freezing [me thinks], but Harlow + Andy seem to love it! This past week she did a couple face plants + worked on kicking! Oh, + she also really enjoys chewing on the ducks.
Yup! We’ve been busy!
We’re also still doing Elimination Communication with Harlow, + she is a little rock star. For anyone that thinks it requires being a super mom? It doesn’t. + I don’t think Harlow is better or smarter than any other baby! I tried it once after reading a book…. + realized how easy it is! That, + flushing a toilet is so much easier than changing a diaper! In the words of Charlie Sheen + my least favorite lady on the Bachelor, Courtney: Winning!
I’ll definitely write a few posts about how we started EC + continue it with her.
My little baby girl has also decided to grow up in an instant + started cruising quite a bit over these last few weeks! She also thoroughly enjoys chasing Wyler as he tries to flee.
So thankful for this happy girl!
Well, that’s been life over the past week or so!
