pressing pause.

We went to the pumpkin patch Saturday night,
and my baby girl grew up before my very eyes.

Never stop holding your daddy’s hand, sweet girl.

May you always know how precious and beautiful you are.

I’ll snuggle + cuddle as long as you’ll let me.
I’ll try hard to stay cool, but that’s not my job.

You will never be too big, too adult, too smart or too anything to sit in your mama’s lap.

I pray you will see the beauty in this world.
Believe that you can make it more beautiful.

Don’t lose that sparkle in your blue eyes:
you cause laughter + bring joy to everyone around you.

I want to press pause, so I can stop and make sure I never forget these moments.

[on Harlow // sweater: knit by her Aunt Marci // vest: thrifted, Old Navy //
jeggings: Circo, Target // boots: Uggs // hat: Coconut Robot]

I will be doing a limited run of this hat in the coming months-in this color combination + custom.  Email to reserve one now.

Thank you, Deva!! Yes – I find it so easy to make excuses that distract me from my loved ones. they get my best…sometimes – but too often, they get my worst! :(

I can’t wait until she and Riv meet…and they will giggle + laugh until they can’t anymore.

I”m sure of it. I think it would be a small glimpse of heaven on earth.

Hi Margaret!

Incredibly humbled and honored that you stopped by – and commented! God really does teach us so much when we stop and learn from the children He’s entrusted to us.

She teaches me so much every day. Every. Single. Day.

Excited for Wonder Struck to hit shelves!

Oh she is so so beautiful– just like her momma! Soak up those “little” days because they really really do grow up when you blink. I have to stop now or I’ll start crying…I sure love my littles so deeply too.
