Yesterday marked eighteen months for my sweet love.
Part of me is in denial, but the majority of me is soaking up each day more and more.
When I take time to slow down and understand the excitement she exudes as she figures out so much, so quickly, and with so much joy.
Each day is an adventure for her.
I think her daily goal is to tire her ‘ole mommy out.
She usually succeeds.
I had so much fun documenting a few of my favorite sayings and words–I’m so thankful that Andy and I have been writing and recording them as often as we can.
Anyone else find themselves frantically deleting blurring photos to free up iPhone space all too often?
This girl certainly does.
But I hope I always have that problem.
I don’t want to slow down time, I want to capture bits of it before moving on.
Y’all? I want to encourage you to click on over to Rachel’s blog – today she is sharing something personal and awesome…and you might want to grab a tissue. I cried. A good cry — happy tears. Just go. You won’t be sorry: you’ll love her even more after you do. She is an amazing photographer, but more than that? She is a really amazing person.
Oh Kacia, she is beautiful! Her words list is precious and those eyes. They
Look right into your soul and grab your heart through the screen. I appreciate your final line – that you don’t want to slow down, but capture bits before you move on. Yes! (and I too frantically delete blurry photos all the time, and especially videos where Behr ran away and it’s a blur of background…those are classic.
she’s a doll.
I LOVE these photos and your words…and her words. So lovely. Your love for her oozes all over the computer screen :)
this is such a lovely post. I have a daughter turning two in February and another due in April. I definitely feel like I can’t get a hold of the passing time. Amelia changes so quickly and learns so much. it’s wonderful but sad at times. I just can’t over that she’s not a baby!! we also write down our daughters words from the time she was about a year old until te list grew to over a hundred words. now we can’t keep up!! :) thank goodness for videos and great photos in between all those blurry ones ;)
your little girl is absolutely beautiful! great photos of your friend! happy 18th months and harlow london is such a pretty name!
Weston is 8.5 months and I just look at Harlow’s update and I can’t even imagine my little man being there in such a short period of time! It goes SO stinking fast! I can’t wait til he starts talking though :)
She is so adorable. Good on you for capturing these priceless memories for you and for her! I wanted to name my Matthew “London” but couldn’t get his very traditional Daddy to go along with me. Such a lovely choice!
She’s the 4th cutest baby girl in the world ;) How is she already 18 months?!?!?! Adorable. Amazing. Wonderful. What a joy!!!
seriously so darling.
The top picture is Harlow imitating you in the picture to the right on my screen.
Gosh, she is just SO cute! You are a blessed mama :)
I'd love to have copies of these pix. I love them all!
