The other morning Harlow pinched her finger, ran over to me and pointed, saying “pees pees” as she asked for me to kiss it.
It made me wonder,
Is this how He loves us?
Do we run to Him for kisses when we do something that hurts?
Did He think of that when He created us?
Sometimes I wonder if these little ways we show affection are tiny little reflections of Him.
Tiny little ways that He reveals His love for us.
Tiny surprises, little gifts–all reminding us of His attention to detail.
His perfect plan.
And most of all: how much He loves us.

And to answer your question… YES!! I believe all the little ways we feel love and give love are reflections of Him. God IS love. And it’s hard to imagine that loving our children does not even compare to the love He has for us!!
