We have had quite the range of temperatures this winter here in Pittsburgh. From the single digits just a week ago, to almost 70° yesterday!
So while the days have been feeling a bit more like spring–which makes this lady happy–this purple sweater is my go-to for Harlow.
My mom knit it for her over a year ago, and I am so excited that it fits her now! Besides being ridiculously cute, it is practical.
Or as I like to say: smart style.
They go along with her Smart Wool socks, of course.
Back to the sweater.
This sweater zips up the back, as you can see in the photo above. It makes it so easy to take on and off an always-on-the-go-toddler.
See? super smart.
I will try to find the pattern and post a link
{for any of you interested in making it yourself!}
After spending some time in our postage stamp sized backyard, we hopped in the car to run a few errands.
This mom wasn’t feeling so great, but I decided I would try the whole fake-it-until-you-make-it, so I tried to pull myself together just a tiny bit!
yes. I am still trying to handle these bangs–I am being incredibly indecisive about them.
on kacia // bangs that need to decide what they are doing: yours truly | red shirt: Stitch Fix | cream top: J.Crew | gold necklace: similar
on Harlow // sweater: made by her MorMor | suede skirt: thrifted, no tags | socks: Smart Wool | boots: Minnetonka
And because I have a crush on boots and moccasins, here are a few of my favorites right now! {Just click on an image for more details!}

You two cuties! I want to play in the snow with you!
That would make my day. Well, perhaps year. Xo!
Oh those snowy pics—Is is crazy that I want and miss it just a little!? Hahaha. Harlow with her calling the dog and practicing her dance moves is absolutely adorable!
I totally love the snow….On days when it’s pushing 40, and the sun is out!! Xoxo!
I just stumbled upon your blog- so adorable!!! I love those pictures!! Harlow is so cute!!
Thanks for stopping by- and taking time to comment, De!! Xoxo!
I am that weirdo who wishes I could have your toddler’s style. Seriously. I think you need to dress me, Kacia :)
Um you’re not weird. Because? Me too.
Oh my goodness that outfit on her is sooo cute
I’d seriously like it in my size, please!
That sweater is the coolest thing! I can hardly believe it’s hand made. And the zipper up the back? Brilliant. If your mom wants to start selling them let me know :)
I know, right? Genius. I need to find out where she got the pattern!
Yeeeeeesssss! Love your baby’s style!!! Those little mocassins?! OMG. Give ‘em to me <3 XO
I know! I think I may be saving up for a momma size!!
Could she be any cuter? I totally want her style.
She needs to rub her style off on me!!
Hi Kacia :) I’m new to your blog and absolutely love it! I get great style tips by looking at your clothes and great tips for my 10 month old daughter by looking at Harlow’s clothes– so fun!! Just wanted to let you know, in case you were deciding whether to keep the bangs or grow them out, I was on the fence about having bangs in the first place and the night I stumbled across your blog, I ran into the bathroom and created my own set of bangs :) I totally love them and you (and Zooey Deschanel :) were a huge inspiration for that! Thank you!! God bless!
Hey Krista! I sent you an email :) let me know if you didn’t get it! I totally want to see the bangs!!
Your daughter is beautiful, and I LOVE the sweater! so smart! I noticed you said it was made by her Mormor; are you Scandinavian? Because I’m Norwegian (well, 50%), and my grandparents were called Farmor/Mormor and Farfar/Morfar by all of us grandkids.
Thanks, Kjelse!!! xoxo! Yes! I am a bit of a Scandinavian mutt :) half Norwegian, and the rest is Swedish, English and Danish! xo!
