…and the sun is too.
Do you see that sun coming in through my bedroom windows?
I can’t even begin to describe to you how much I have needed these past few days of beautiful weather. I am one who needs the sun! Harlow and I have enjoyed time at the park with friends, walks with her favorite pupster, and drawing with chalk on the sidewalk.
Please spring, come quickly!
{I’ve started using my sun lamp every morning–
I’ll let you know what I think about it in a few more weeks!}
One of my goals for the start of the year was to pull myself together a bit more each day–I’m taking baby steps and giving myself an abundance of grace. One way to make the morning a bit more interesting is to grab a few items from my closet that haven’t been worn for a while and pair them with a new favorite. {Of course this only works when I’m able to snag a few extra minutes of getting-ready time, or when I’m not getting ready until nap time…}
Try it sometime: it brings a new life to items you tend to ignore!
I recently received this feather stud top in one of my latest fixes, and it quickly become a favorite.
I readily admit to wearing far too often–no shame.
I’m not sure if layering it over this old J.Crew shirt works–but I kind of love them together. Lately my trend has been,
If it doesn’t match and can be layered: wear it.
I just think life is too short not to have a little fun. Right? We can’t take ourselves too seriously.

What do you think? Creative or not-so-much?
xo.
