After Christmas celebrations with both sides of our family, road trips, and hosting family, we were excited to have a “Christmas morning”–a few days late–with our little family.
We knew that this year we wanted to get Harlow a toy kitchen, so I began researching a few months ago.
We debated making one, but realistically knew that we’d struggle to get it finished by the end of the year.
Or we’d maybe not get any sleep before the end of the year….
So we decided to buy one! It had been sitting in the basement ready for the elves the parents to put it all together.
I had read rave reviews about how well this kitchen held up–but read many complaints about how long it took to put together.
Let me just say: it was tedious. It took a lot of time. But the instructions were very detailed and specific.
But I won’t be applying at the North Pole anytime soon!
The sweet kitchen we got is available here!

This past weekend we spent a lot of time as a family.
It was so good.
I’m struggling to get back in the “swing of things”–but I think there is a reason for that.
Andy and I have been talking about a word for each of us this year–as well as a family to display and focus on as a family.
I am so excited to share it with you soon!

Omg, where can I find a kitchen like that for adults?! How fun!
Absolutely adorable…I can only imagine how long it took to put that together! Ha. We had a great “family time” weekend too!
That is on enviable kitchen!
I am having a hard time getting back into the swing as well. But I’m realizing that I may just need a new swing.
Love it!
Now, I just need to get pregnant so I have an excuse to buy one.
Wow, that kitchen is amazing! That’s probably my favorite play kitchen I’ve ever seen! I’m so over the primary color play kitchens.
