Happy Monday! I have a lot of photos to edit and organize — so much to share with you guys! A few secret projects that I’m working on that I’ll be sharing as soon as I can! And a few projects and tutorials I’ll be sharing over the weeks to come!
Today I wanted to share a news special that aired back in my hometown of La Crosse, WI. Each year, my parents lead a team of medical personal and hospital staff to Ethiopia to volunteer their time at Project Mercy.
I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again: my parents never cease to amaze me. They are selfless and giving of their time and skills, always loving those around them in the most incredible ways.
I started crying pretty early on, but I’m also super hormonal and pregnant. But if you’re easily drawn to tears, maybe have a tissue nearby.
[It’s not long — and it’s broken up into 3 parts. If you’re reading via a reader, links can be found below each video.]

Hi, Kacia!
So, funny story…my dad knows your parents! Actually my dad works for Project Mercy and I will be getting to go with a medical team this next month (July 2014). They sent out these videos via email for those of us going on the trip. Also, I went to TU with your sister. I started reading your blog about a year ago and only recently have I been making these connections.
All that to say, thanks for sharing the good work done by many good people…your parents included!
