I posted this photo back in June as we were packing to leave for a weekend in Chicago!  It was a combination of visiting my sister, celebrating our anniversary, and seeing some dear college friends for a shower!

The number one question in the comments? How are you so tan!?

And I promised to share my secret and of course I had some elaborate post and I made it way more complicated than it needed to be….and well…when you’re 36 weeks pregnant:

aint nobody

Heck, I don’t care if you just drank 4 shots of espresso, there is more fun to be had than an elaborate post on self tanners.  C’mon Kacia.

So here are the details:

It’s the bomb dot com (do people still say that?) and I cannot stress that enough.  I’ve only done the whole spraytan thing a few times for weddings and things, and each time I’ve been super disappointed with the results…especially for what I paid!

The mouse is ridiculously forgiving because it is slightly tinted (so you can see where you’re applying) and also it doesn’t go on like a lotion.  Think of it as mousse-toner almost?  It dries almost instantly, but then if you notice a weird line, you can use the excess on your to blend it back in.

I bought it and let it sit for about 3 weeks because I was so nervous, and I’m kicking myself for not using it sooner.

Okay, so why on earth am I sharing this information with you now?

And to not tell you would be rude and mean.  Or something.

The 4oz Mousse is regularly $32.50, but for $30.50, you can get both the 4oz mousse and the tanning lotion.

SEE!?

I typically only use the lotion when I’m trying to prolong the tan or to give my legs or arms and shoulders a little deeper color — but the mousse itself lasts for about a week!

I snatched a few photos that I know I used the St Tropez mousse!  The top right I used it that morning — so it still has the immediate bronzer as well.  In the bottom right photo, I used the lotion all over as well to get a little bit deeper of a tan color.

Okay.   Oh! And this combo pack doesn’t include the mitt — but you’ll definitely want that!  I cannot believe how easy it makes applying the mousse!  I just wash with cold water and some handsoap before I let it dry!  oh!  St Tropez has some great videos with application advice that I highly recommend watching before you apply!  I even bring my full length mirror into our bathroom, so I can see my back as I apply, since that is definitely the toughest part — but not hard, I promise!

I’m taking over the Better Life Bags Instagram feed this weekend!  This style is the new Linda bag with one of the new woven cotton Aztec prints!  I love it!

Happy Sunday, loves!  Carry on with your day — just had to share about this crazy sale and this gorgeous new bag — y’all know I’m a huge fan of Rebecca and what she is doing with Better Life Bags!
