ABOUT
Hi, I am Kacia
I draft bag and garment patterns in Wisconsin, film the process, and write down every mistake so you do not have to make it twice.
When my class schedule made no room for art during my freshman year of high school, I got rid of my mandatory study hall, so I could squeeze one in.
“Never a day without art.”
That has mostly held. Some days the art is a finished bag and some days it is one seam sewn badly at eleven at night, but the rule has kept me making for fifteen years, first as a blog, then a YouTube channel, and now as a small pattern company.
Every pattern here goes out to a group of testers at three skill levels before it goes on sale. If a step confuses them, I rewrite it. If it confuses them twice, I redraft the piece.
Tested three times over
Beginner, confident and advanced testers sew every pattern before you can buy it.
Photographs, not diagrams
Real fabric at every step, so you can compare your piece against mine.
Corrections stay public

Questions about a pattern?
I answer these myself, usually within a day. Errata and printing help are already written up in the FAQ.
